Spiryted is operated by Abdullah Shabbir, an individual based in Pakistan (“Spiryted”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Spiryted, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement. Minimum age and date of birth are addressed in Section 1a; please read it carefully.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Spiryted. When you create an account you must provide your date of birth, and we use it to confirm your eligibility. You agree to provide an accurate date of birth; providing a false date of birth to circumvent the age requirement is a violation of these Terms. Your date of birth is recorded once at sign-up and cannot be changed by you afterward.
No one under the age of 13 may use Spiryted under any circumstance. Spiryted is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit them to create an account or collect their personal data. If we learn that an account has been created by anyone under 13, we will terminate that account and delete the associated data. If we learn that a user is between 13 and 15 (under our 16 minimum), we will likewise terminate the account. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided us personal data, contact us at the address in Section 16 and we will delete it.
Spiryted is a private nightly-reflection app. Each night you answer a few short questions (what you did, what the day taught you, and a plan for tomorrow), optionally tag what you worked on to a life area, optionally write a longer journal entry, and build a personal streak. You can set weekly targets for your areas, confirm whether yesterday’s intention happened, and see a weekly review of your progress. Everything you record is private to you — Spiryted has no friends, followers, boards, feeds, or messaging. Spiryted is text-only: it does not accept photo, image, or file uploads.
Streaks, targets, and other counters are motivational features only. They have no monetary value, and we do not guarantee their accuracy, preservation, or availability.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login details safe. You may have only one account. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account as described in Section 7.
Spiryted offers an optional premium subscription, Spiryted Pro, priced at $2.99 per month. Pro currently unlocks your full reflection history (free accounts can view their most recent 90 days in the app). Your data export is free for everyone and is not a Pro feature. We may adjust which features are included in Pro and in the free tier over time; the core nightly reflection loop — the questions, your areas, your streak, and your weekly review — always remains free.
Your subscription automatically renews each month and your payment method is charged $2.99 until you cancel. There is no free trial. You may cancel at any time via the customer portal linked on your Settings page or at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, who handle and store your payment details — we never see your card number. If we change the subscription price, we will give existing subscribers reasonable advance notice, and the new price applies only to subsequent renewals. All payments are final and non-refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy or required by law.
You retain ownership of the content you create on Spiryted — your reflections and journal entries. By saving content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely as needed to operate the service and show it back to you. This license ends when the content is deleted, except that content may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days. Your content is private to you and is not shown to other users.
You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to save it. Because streaks and reflections can matter to you, keep your own copies of anything important — the export feature exists for this.
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes, but is not limited to:
Spiryted does not accept image uploads of any kind. We nonetheless have zero tolerance for any content — including text — that sexually exploits or endangers a minor, or that is otherwise illegal. If we become aware of such content, we will immediately and permanently terminate the account, and we may preserve the content and related account information and report it to relevant authorities (including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and/or law enforcement), as permitted or required by law. We will cooperate with lawful requests from authorities. We accept no liability to you for any action taken under this Section, and you waive any claim against us arising from such action to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or applicable law, with or without prior notice. Where practical, we will tell you what happened and why. Accounts terminated for violations are not entitled to any refund. We may also discontinue the service or any feature; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice so you can export your data.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use, share, and delete it, including how your reflections stay private. It forms part of these Terms.
Spiryted is built on third-party infrastructure (including Supabase, Vercel, and Lemon Squeezy). We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or other failures caused by these providers, though we will make reasonable efforts to restore service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT YOUR REFLECTIONS, STREAKS, OR OTHER DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST. KEEP YOUR OWN COPIES OF ANYTHING THAT MATTERS TO YOU — THE EXPORT FEATURE EXISTS FOR THIS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, CONTENT, STREAKS, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE; AND (B) OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR TEN US DOLLARS (USD 10). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, THESE LIMITS APPLY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED, AND NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) brought by a third party arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions, and disputes are subject to the courts of Pakistan. If you are a consumer residing in a jurisdiction whose law grants you non-waivable rights or a non-waivable choice of forum, those rights are unaffected by this clause.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the service. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
